This includes the Jungfraujoch, Iterlaken, Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen and a larger area around that.

This pass can save you lots of money, depending on your itinerary and travel plans and lots of other great benefits as well.

1. Free Travel All Over The Region

The main benefit of the Bernern Oberland Pass is that it gives you free travel all over the Interlaken/Jungfrau region by train, bus, boat.

The area covered is also quite impressive as it includes travel to

  • Gstaad, Meiringen and more
  • Most of the way to Montreux with the GoldenPass train too! (to Zweisimmen plus a discount for the rest)

2. Free Mountain Transport

5. Stress-Free While You Travel

One of the big benefits I explain to my clients is that once you have this pass, you are “generally” good to go during your time in the Interlaken Region. You can get on/off any form of transport, including most mountain transport and can focus on enjoying your time instead of worrying about tickets.

6. Save Even More Money

The Berner Oberland Pass can be purchased with around 30% discount if you have a Swiss Travel Pass or Half Fare Card. So, not only is the pass super affordable and handy to have, it is even cheaper if you are traveling around with another Swiss travel pass.
