Maya Mobile eSIMs
Maya Mobile has some of the best eSIM offers online with a fully flexible offer of how many days, GB or unlimited data you need. All for super affordable prices.
Here are some examples of their eSIM packages:
- 5 GB / 10 Days: $9.00
- 10 GB / 15 Days: $17.00
- 20 GB / 30 Days: $26.00
- Unlimited Lite (2 GB/day, reduced after) / 5 Days: $19.00
- Unlimited Max (5 GB/day, reduced after) / 30 Days: $79.00
As you can see they are very affordable at down to $1.3 per GB or $3-4 per day for unlimited data. And you can share data with these eSIMs as well.
Holafly eSims
Holafly is one of the best eSIM providers for a visitor to Switzerland who wants unlimited data. Holafly is all about unlimited prepaid eSIMs in Europe, and Switzerland is no exception. The only trick is that it is not the cheapest sim option, but it’s worth it if you surf a lot or won’t have enough wifi access on the road.
Holafly’s eSIMs with unlimited data range in price depending on the days you want it for. Here are the offers in US dollars:
Obviously, the longer the plan, the cheaper it gets. So, if you stay for multiple weeks or months, the unlimited packages get pretty cheap.
Holafly does not specify exactly who you will get in terms of providers, but it looks like they use a range of them. And, from my experience, they are all great, except for a few small corners of the country. So, if you are in major cities or towns then it’s all the same in most cases.
One other thing to be aware of is that unlimited data can only be shared for 500 MB per day. Limits on “unlimited data” are common with eSIMs as it is not really viable to offer unlimited data to everyone

Airalo eSims
Airalo is my favorite esim provider for smaller prepaid data packages. And if you are traveling in Switzerland and mostly staying in hotels or hanging out in them, or cafes, then you likely won’t need unlimited data.
The prices are reasonable and the options are quite flexible. You can even try out just a few GB, see if you like it, then top it up with more. Take larger packages if you know you will need them.
Airalo offers the following data packages under the “Pilatus” brand name, which is just a famous mountain in Switzerland:
- 1 GB / 7 Days for $4.5
- 2 GB / 7 Days for $8
- 3 GB / 30 Days for $10
- 5 GB / 30 Days for $14.5
- 10 GB / 30 Days for $24
- 20 GB / 30 Days for $38
AIralo uses the Sunrise mobile network in Switzerland which is one of the fastest with great coverage too.
Nomad eSims
Nomad is often a great alternative to Airalo, but in this case, the prices are reasonable. However, the smaller packages usually cost more. On top of that, they use either Salt or Truphone, so not neither of the two operators in the country.
One thing Nomad is good for though is big data packages, but in Switzerland, their largest package is 20 GB, the same as Airalo.
However, maybe Holafly’s unlimited packages make more sense if you are a big data user.
Here are some of Nomad’s eSIM offers:
- 1 GB / 7 Days for $6
- 3 GB / 30 Days for $12
- 5 GB / 30 Days for $14
- 10 GB / 30 Days for $20
- 20 GB / 30 Days for $33
eSIMs Including Text & Calls
If you need an eSIM that has unlimited SMS and calls included, then the Europe-wide eSIM offers from Orange (one of France’s top operators) are a great alternative. They are not as cheap on the data-side of things but they only option for calls/texts.
There are two packages you can get:
- Orange Holiday Zen eSim (8 GB, 14 days, €19.99)
- Orange Holiday Europe eSim (20 GB, 14 days, €49.99)
