Gstaad is a renowned luxury mountain resort, deep in the Simmental close to Interlaken. There is certainly a lot of mountain activities to experience and places to explore in Gstaad and the surroundings. And fact is made even better by the Gstaad Card.

The Gstaad Card is a free visitors card issued to the majority of people who stay at least one night in some accommodation in Gstaad. It depends on where you stay, but if you are overnighting here, be sure to ask your host if you can get your hands on the Gstaad Card.

It offers you free public trasnport, transport travel on the mountain transport system adn lots of experiences at great prices.

Gstaad Card Benefits

The Gstaad Card is usually only valid in the summer months between 1st May and 31st October. The benefits you get with this guest card include:

Free Public Transport

Travel on the majority of bus and train lines in the Simmental/Saanenland areas. These are the bus routes that are included from Gstaad to:

  • Saanenmöser
  • Lauenensee
  • Turbach – Bissen – Gstaad
  • Col du Pillon

Buses from Lenk to:

  • Iffigenalp
  • Simmenfälle
  • Bühlberg
  • Laubbärgli
  • REKA – Boden – Lenk

How Do I Get My Gstaad Card?

Your accommodation host will send you a link to get your Gstaad Card by email. Using that link you can create your account and download your Gstaad Card digitally.

What Does the Gstaad Card Cost?

The Gstaad Card is free for anyone staying overnight at eligible accommodation in the Gstaad area. To find out if you can get one, contact your accommodation directly.

Can I Buy a Montreux Riviera Card?

A Gstaad Card is only given to someone who stays at least one night in elibigle accommodation in Gstaad. You cannot buy this card directly.
