Outlet Malls are not something people expect in such a small country as Switzerland, however, there are a few options scattered throughout the country.
There is one in Tessin, one in the French part of the country, and two in the North West. So, if you want to grab some big brand name stuff at discounted prices, then they are certainly the best option you will find.

FoxTown Outlet is located in the town of Mendrisio in Tessin, right on the border with Italy. It is a great place to visit on your way down to Italy or on the way back. It is also right near the stunning lake Como, so if you are heading that way its worth a stop.
It’s the second largest shopping center in the area, after Serravalle, and consists of 2 three-storey buildings linked to each other, with a total of 160 stores. Now that is a lot of shopping opportunities if you ask me!

Unlike many out-of-town outlet centers, the Designer Outlet Landquart is located next door to a mainline railway station, serving many of Switzerland’s major ski resorts in the east of the country. But also, for motorists, located next to the exit from the A13 motorway as you are driving between Chur and Zurich.
It also has an insane number of brands at 160 as of end of 2022. So, there is certainly a lot of options for your shopping dollar to go further.

Getting There: Take the Rothrist exit, and then follow the signs towards Outlet Park. It takes about 7 minutes to get to Outletpark Murgenthal from the exit.

The Outletpark Murgenthal is 10,000 square meters in total, but the shopping you are interested in is 8,000 square meters. It is located near Rothrist kind of in the middle of nowhere, but if you live in the North West of Switzerland it is one of your best options. The Outletpark has about 20 stores, housing over 100 brands, so there is enough choice for most people.

The Fashion Fish Outlet is an outlet shopping center located in Schönenwerd in the Canton of Solothurn in German-speaking Switzerland in the former factory premises of Bally Shoes. It is actually not that far from the Murgenthal Outlet, so if you want to shop til you drop, then you could combine both of them in one big day out.
