There are far more water parks in Switzerland than most people think! They make a great way to enjoy a summer or even winter’s day with friends or family.

With lots of water slide, thermal baths, spas and even kids areas, the options are huge and the fun can be epic!

Aquaparc

Aquaparc is of course all about water! Covering all ages from adults, teens to kids, they have something for everyone. Loads of waterslides, slow river area, a pirate ship for kids and a whole lot more. There is no boredom in this place, that is for sure.

Getting There: You can come to the park by train. The train station (Le Bouveret – Port Valais) is about a 5-7 minute walk from the park (lakeside path) If you would like to come by bus, we invite you to contact the Tourist Office at 024.481.51.21.

Parking: Car park is communal and is subject to a charge of CHF 7 per visit (or CHF 1.50 per hour). There are parking meters in the car park.

Säntispark Rutschenwelt

Säntispark is a great mix of spa, wellness, and water park. Not only does it cover all ages, it also has water and outdoor sports as well. There is a full wellness area, a kid-specific pool, 8 different slides, a restaurant of course, and lots of other sporting options to partake in.

Splash e Spa Tamaro

Located between Locarno and Lugano, `Splash e Spa is everything the name suggests: a combination of a few slides for the kids and some spa and relaxation for the adults. With 3 slides, a wave pool, a panoramic pool and a spa, there is enough to keep the whole family here busy for the day.

Alpamare

Alpamare

Located less than an hour from Zurich HB, Alpamare is the premiere water park in the Lake Zurich Area. With 12 individual slides, the Sole Bad and Alpa Therme, you have lots of choices – adrenaline or relaxation. Because of all these options you can go with kids and relax while they are off having fun.

Getting There: Take the highway A3 exit Pfäffikon/SZ, drive in the direction of Pfäffikon and then follow the signs to Seedamm Center and later Alpamare. The Alpamare is already signposted at the highway exit.

Bernaqua is a smaller water park than many with only 3 water slides, but the large wellness/spa area more than makes up for it. There is also a large fitness center as well.

Lido in Locarno is a mixture between outdoor swimming area, on the lake, indoor swimming pool and water park. There are only 4 water slides, but with so much to do outside, it is a great place to spend a hot summer’s day.
