- Distance: 148 km
Getting to Davos by car from Zurich is a straightforward drive that takes just under 2 hours, depending on traffic.
You will slowly leave the Lake Zurich region on a wide, fast A3 until you enter the somewhat slower portion along the stunning Walensee. After passing through a range of tunnels, you will soon be in Landquart, where you will soon turn off onto a country road to Davos.
You are now close to Davos, but the drive will take you slowly uphill through more curves, tunnels, and an easy country road. Apart from the scenery, one of the highlights along this route is the stunning Sunnibergbrücke bridge, which leads into a long straight tunnel before Davos.
I have made this journey dozens of times and the views, especially along the Walensee, are stunning!
