best hotels pontresina

Pontresina is a stunning little alpine village in the heart of the Upper Engadine Valley in the canton of Graubünden in eastern Switzerland. It is a mountain wonderland with excellent skiing in the winter and great hiking, rock climbing, and mountain biking in the summer.

Pontresina is also renowned for being an authentic Engadin village. Its history dates back to the 13 century and it was used as an important trading center for goods such as salt, wool, and wine.

In the 17th and 18th centuries, stunning houses started being made in the village, and they are still there to see today, as are the stylish hotels from the Belle Epoque.

With just over 2,000 residents this is a little village and a great place to get a full-on alpine experience, but where should you stay when you get there? That is what we are here to find out.

Join me as I run through the best hotels in Pontresina from luxury to budget so that you can find the perfect spot to stay at during your visit.
