Wochenmarkt Bürkliplatz
This is a great local market at the top of Bahnhofstrasse, right near the lake. It is affectionately known as the Bürklimäärt by Zurich residents. The market features dozens of stalls from local farmers with everything from spectacular cut flowers to fresh fruit and produce. So, if you want to grab some seriously local food this is the place to come.

Oerlikon Farmer’s Market
One of the larger and more iconic weekly farmer’s markets in Zurich, the Oerlikon market is one I have visited dozens of times. For me, it is the perfect place to find local farmers’ fruit and vegetables for your weekly meals, or even just grab something fresh or unique on your way past (if you are in the area).

Wochenmarkt Helvetiaplatz
This is another unexpected place for a market, right in the heart of Zurich’s Langstrasse area. Although, having also been to their yearly Velo Börse, I find it is the perfect square for such activities, as it is huge.
You will find everything from freshly cut flowers, fruit and vegetables, to local cheeses, meat and more.

This is not your average farmer’s market, but more the usual random products and knick-knacks kind of market you find in most towns.
