More public transport disruptions are occurring in Switzerland today as avalanche danger persists.
Disruptions include not only the Lotschberg trainline from yesterday due to the avalanche but also
- Grindelwald – Mannlichen gondola is closed today
- St Niklaus to Täsch (on the way to Zermatt
- R71 from Meiringen near Interlaken is affected
- S23 from Apenzell to Ebenalp/Wasserauen
- The service between Sembrancher – Orsières near Martigny
- Trains heading to Chamonix
- Renens to Lausanne appears to be improving despite the recent vandalism
