Sitting on the southern end of St Moritz just outside of town amongst beautiful grounds, it has a very peaceful setting.

You can choose to book a range of rooms as well as suites and even private residences, all of which have amazing views and are furnished to incredibly high standards.

Suvretta House is a luxurious 5-star hotel a little ways outside of St Moritz and slightly up the mountain. Sitting next to a cable car station, it is ideal for accessing the slope and summer trails, plus there is a shuttle service to take you into St Moritz.

The Chantarella funicular, which takes you to the Corviglia mountain area is also just a 2-minute walk away which makes accessing its ski slopes and summer trails very easy.

Hotel Schweizerhof is a 4-star hotel and is another lovely place to stay during your time in St Moritz. It is a stone’s throw away from Lake St Moritz and everything from shops to bars and the ski lifts are close by.

The rooms are very comfortable and elegantly furnished and come with everything you need to have a comfortable stay. If you want a mountain view with your room, be sure to request this as not all of them come with this.

While staying at the hotel, make sure you take advantage of the gym, indoor pool, and spa treatments on offer. You can also relax in the sauna or steam bath after a long day.

If you don’t feel like venturing out, you can have a lovely traditional Swiss or international meal at the hotel’s restaurant and there is a nice bar to have a drink at too.

Hotel Chesa Spuondas is a little bit outside of the city center, 2.5 km to be exact, in Suvretta but this does mean it has a more peaceful setting, and it is close to some cable car stations too.

This is a 3-star hotel and therefore is a lot more affordable than some of the others we have looked at making it ideal if you are on a bit of a budget.

The rooms are all lovely and come with all you need along with little touches like bathrobes and slippers. Some of them have mountain views so be sure to request this when booking.

There is no spa onsite, but you are never far from one in St Moritz. There is a restaurant, however, so if you are looking for a quiet night in after a long day, you do not need to leave the hotel.

Surrounded by alpine meadows, and forest, and with great views, this is an ideal place to stay if you want some peace from the busy town or if you are on a budget.

Giardino Mountain

Giardino Mountain is a very luxurious 5-star hotel in the village of Champfèr, 3 miles or so from St Moritz. Champfèr is a lovely little village to explore and the hotel runs a 24-hour shuttle service into St Moritz so that you can have the best of both worlds.

All the rooms at this hotel are stunning and feature an alpine style plus all of them come with their own state-of-the-art bathroom plus a balcony with excellent views.

The hotel has a lovely spa where you can relax in the steam bath, sauna, and indoor pool, and order from a range of treatments.

It also has a wonderful gourmet restaurant that focuses on a blend of Ayurveda-based dishes with a mix of Asian, Oriental, and local influences added into the fusion.

Or, if you fancy something more traditional, head to the other restaurant which specializes in delicious local Engadine cuisine. There is also a bar where you can relax with a drink and take in the excellent views that come with the hotel’s location.

Hotel Steffani is a 4-star hotel in the middle of St Moritz town very close to the funicular, shops, bars, restaurants, and everything else St Mortiz has to offer.

All the rooms and suites at this St Moritz hotel are furnished with local materials and have a very genuine alpine style to them as you would expect.

While the hotel does not have a spa, it does have a great bar and three restaurants, each of which focuses on a different cuisine – Chinese, Swiss, and Italian.

Hotel Nolda is a great place to stay in St Moritz if you are looking for somewhere more affordable. It is a 3-star hotel on the edge of St Moritz very close to a funicular and lots of shops, bars, and restaurants.

Being a 3-star hotel, it does not have a spa but there is a lovely restaurant and bar where you can have a great meal and cocktail during your stay.

Other services include shuttle service, there is also a lovely terrace with excellent views, and the modern country-house style along with cozy rooms make it a lovely place to stay.

Hotel Waldhaus am See is right on the shores of Lake St Moritz giving you unparalleled views and excellent access to the lake for swims and watersports during the summer. It is also within walking distance of a lot of the great things St Mortiz has to offer.

This is a rather expensive 3-star hotel due to the location but you do get stunning views, tastefully furnished spacious rooms, and there is an excellent spa, restaurant, and bar at the hotel too.
