Sitting on the shores of Lake Geneva at the end of an Alpine valley and with a backdrop of stunning Alpine peaks, Montreux is a beautiful place for honeymooners.
The views from the lakeside promenade are simply astounding in Montreux and make for a very romantic setting. Couple this with luxurious hotels, fine restaurants, great nightlife, and a lot of lovely things to do, and you have an awesome honeymoon town.
While in Montreux you can swim in the lake, take a romantic lake cruise, paddle board, and lots more.
Montreux is also home to the beautiful Chillon Castle which dates back to the 12th century, Charlie Chaplin Museum, Queen Recording Studios, and lots more cultural sites.
