Swiss Travel Pass Prices Are Rising, So Get In Quick

Starting next year, the prices of the Swiss Travel Pass and the Swiss Half Fare Card will increase, while the prices of regular train tickets (i.e., without a pass) will stay the same.

So, if you are planning on traveling to Switzerland in 2026, here is what you need to know…

🚆 2026 Price Updates

Here are the price increases you should know about:

Swiss Travel Pass and Swiss Travel Pass Flex

Prices will increase by about 5 percent across all durations and travel classes. These passes remain one of the easiest and most convenient ways for visitors to explore Switzerland by train, bus, and boat — all with one ticket.

Swiss Half Fare Card

The price will increase from CHF 120 to CHF 150.

This card offers 50 percent off most train, bus, boat, and mountain transport tickets for an entire month, making it a great option for travelers who prefer flexibility.

Point-to-point tickets (Standard Rail Tickets)

There will be no price increase. Standard full-fare tickets and discounted tickets (when using the Half Fare Card) will remain the same as in 2026.

🇨🇭 What the Swiss Travel Pass Includes

Even with the slight price increase, the Swiss Travel Pass continues to offer excellent value for travelers who plan to visit multiple destinations.
