Buy It Online Before You Go
I use Get Your Guide to buy most of my online passes before I go anywhere. Why? Well, they are so flexible it is almost ridiculous. And they are such a big company, you have no doubt who you are dealing with.
You can pay at the last minute (instead of when you order it) and cancel right up to the date. So, order it now and then change your mind later if you want.
Plus, who wants to have to deal with buying passes on vacation? Grab it now, and arrive in Switzerland knowing you have all your transport sorted.
Swiss Train Stations
If you don’t manage to buy your Swiss Travel Pass before you leave, you can make your way to a local Swiss Train Station and line up to buy one there. It’s a lot less convenient as they are often very busy, and only open during business hours.
All the main cities have big offices where you can buy your Swiss Travel Pass, and technically the smaller stations too. Although they are open even less often and have less staff available.

Both Zurich Airport and Geneva Airport have SBB train stations inside. And you can also head to their sales offices when you land.
Again, there are often long lines of visitors at these stations buying train tickets and making inquiries, so I personally don’t recommend you do it if you can avoid it.

SBB App
The Swiss Travel System has an official app called SBB Mobile that allows you to purchase the Swiss Travel Pass and other tickets. It’s available on both Android and iOS platforms.
