Eiger Express & The Swiss Travel Pass

Eiger Express

Are you wondering if the Eiger Express is covered by the Swiss Travel Pass?

After all, it costs you a lot of money, so it would be a shame if you had to buy another cable car ticket right?

Is The Eiger Express Included In The Swiss Travel Pass

No, the Eiger Express is not included in the Swiss Travel Pass. However, you do get a 25% discount on the ticket from Grindewald Terminal to the top of Eiger Express.

You can travel with the train to Grindelwald Terminal and then get on the Eiger Express without paying anything.

Want To Save This For Later?

We'll email this post to you, so you can come back to it later!

If you are coming from

  • Interlaken
  • Grindelwald
  • Lauterbrunnen

Then all your travel is included. You can, of course, even come from further afield and it’s all free.

The only thing you have to pay for is other cable cars (like First, Männlichen or Schilthorn). And, if you continue to the Jungfraujoch, you will need to buy a valid ticket for that. But, you will get a discount.
